Work at height and above free depth
Training is also conducted remotely in the form of E-learning.
In connection with the new changes in legislation, any person who carries out work at a height of more than 1.5 metres above the free depth or in an excavation deeper
more than 1.3 metres is required to be professionally qualified for this activity.
Professional competence to carry out work at height and above free depth without the use of climbing equipment
and caving equipment can be obtained by completing the familiarisation. Upon successful completion of this training, you will be issued with a record of professional competence to perform work at height and above free depth. According to the legislative regulations, it is obligatory to undergo the re-acquaintance once every 12 months.
Work at height and above free depth without the use of special equipment is considered to be:
- at a height of more than 1.5 m if it is not possible to work from a solid and safe working floor (especially bricklayers, plumbers, maintenance workers, repairers, electricians, painters, lorry drivers and many others)
- from the mobile work platform,
- from a ladder at a height of more than 5 m,
- when excavating in trenches deeper than 1.3 m (where there is a risk of drowning, sinking in pits
and tanks with water, lime, mortar, buried material or other danger of damage to health).
