Training of safety technicians

Content of training:

Our aim is not only to prepare the participants well for the final exams, but also to master a wide range of applicable legislation related to the subject and to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice.

At the same time, the participant will learn:

• verify and control compliance with safety regulations and the use of protective equipment, devices and devices in the workplace
• develop internal OHS regulations in accordance with applicable legislation, monitor compliance with OSH legislation and update OSH documentation
• coordinate and conduct initial and periodic OHS training
• carry out consultancy activities on OHS regulations for the employer
• assess workplace hazards and develop safe working practices
• investigate work accidents
• coordinate professional inspections and professional tests of technical equipment.

The training of safety technicians is carried out in accordance with Section 23 of Act No. 124/2006 Coll. on Occupational Safety and Health at Work, as amended. We have a BT Education and Training Permit issued by the National Labour Inspectorate.

Conditions for entry into training:

a minimum of upper-secondary education (Leaving Certificate).

Scope of the educational programme (full-time and distance learning):

176 hours.

Upon completion, the candidate receives a written proof of completion of the safety technician training, which is necessary for the final examination conducted by the National Labour Inspectorate in Košice.

It remains compulsory to undergo refresher training for security technicians every 5 years.a
